Available in ceramic (purple) and aluminium oxide (green), these discs can be used on a broad range of surfaces and materials. Perfect for surface preparation, conditioning and finishing, you will not be disappointed. The ceramic (purple) discs feature our Swarts Everlast break-away grain technology meaning they sharpen as they sand and they stay cooler- protecting the surface beneath. These are optimised for automotive and metal working applications. They are made using a high heat resistant hook & loop backing to ensure they don’t melt to your backing plate and remove 30% faster than your conventional AO discs. They come with a latex infused backing for flexibility and tear resistance when working on uneven surfaces and edges. The aluminium oxide (green) discs are suitable for woodworking, plaster boards, compounds and putties. When tested, they last longer than your conventional (white, brown or yellow) AO discs. They are made using a high heat resistant hook & loop backing to ensure they don’t melt to your backing plate and the film backing is ideal for tear resistance and a smooth, even finish required when working on plasterboard. Our AO discs come in a range of sizes including 225mm which have been specially designed for use with wall sanders. After an all rounder? Then we recommend the ceramic discs to cover your bases.
